Students learn in different ways, and we recognize that the best learning occurs when all of the senses are engaged. A serious education requires the use of many different techniques from various venues. With this in mind, we conduct regular field trips and activities for our high school students.
We offer our students a well-rounded education, which includes participation in the following fields trips:
- Contemporary Art Museum
- Holocaust Museum
- Federal Reserve Bank
- St. Louis Arch
- Incredible Pizza
- Six Flags
At Gateway Legacy Christian Academy, students have the opportunity to join us on up to three educational trips to experience new cultures and visit exciting places. These overnight tours last five to 10 days with destinations to different areas of the United States or to foreign countries. We require a minimum number of students to make these tours happen, so we hope you’ll plan on joining us. Watch for complete details of our trips in the fall of each school year.
To assist students with cultural adaptation, in addition to participating in these amazing high school activities with other Gateway students, we pair international students with American families for additional American culture-rich campus activities, including shopping, sports, museum visits, and retreats.
